It has been ages since I last updated my page but stranegly enough I don't have lots of news to share. Third and final year at uni is not an easy one but I must admit it's the most enjoyable! Next week I'm going to York for the postgraduate open day and hopefully I will apply for an MA there before Christmas...If I can find the time to finish the application form of course, which seems very unlikely right now.

But it doesn't matter

It's getting colder, Christmas is upon us and even those who love summer must love winter right now! (I know it's only November but it does smell like winter.) I got up really early this morning for no particular reason and as I had nothing for breakfast I went to the Waitrose around the corner...But as you have already guessed if you've been paying attention, it was closed. So I ended up walking around the park for an hour (I say park but actually it's more like a narrow garden - still pretty though). It's amazing how a brief (?!) walk can change your day.

Here is my advice for the day then...Go for a walk, breathe the cool (or cold as it is more the case now..) air and just let your senses appreciate all you have and believe that anything that's wrong will pass...
